Assistant Floor Manager – VR GameHouse Amsterdam

Can you keep a team motivated, maintain high service standards, and make sure everything runs smoothly, even during the busiest moments?At VR GameHouse, we are looking for a hands-on and energetic Assistant Floor Manager to help lead the daily operations of our immersive VR entertainment venue in Amsterdam.
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys hospitality, events, entertainment, and creating experiences people genuinely talk about afterwards. From corporate team buildings and birthday parties to large group events, you will help create the atmosphere and service quality that define VR GameHouse.

What You'll Do

• Support the Floor Manager in leading daily venue operations
• Supervise and guide VR Hosts during shifts
• Ensure guests receive a high-quality, welcoming experience
• Coordinate bookings, events, and day-to-day flow
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, service and venue presentation
• Resolve on-the-floor operational, guest experience, and technical issues
• Help maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere for guests and staff
• Support onboarding and training of new team members
• Ensure the venue is well-maintained, clean, and presented to high standards at all times

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone with significant experience in hospitality, events, entertainment, or venue operations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to work with both guests and team members
• Hands-on, proactive, and highly responsible, with a strong sense of ownership
• Able to stay calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Based in Amsterdam or nearby area
• Fluent in English & Dutch
• A driving license is a plus
